What is Cookies with Santa?

Cookies with Santa is our annual holiday event where children come visit the museum (decorated for Christmas!) and meet with Santa. Activities for the kids include: photographs with Santa*, holiday crafts, letters to Santa, festive games & activities, and a decorated cookie to take home!

*As CMAC does not have a volunteer photographer this year,
parents are encouraged to take their own photos using their phones or cameras

What happens when my child meets Santa?

When you check-in at the front desk for this event, your child will be given a nametag - it is important that this be visible so as to receive the correct gift. Your child will experience the magic of meeting Santa, and receive their gift (see below). Parents are encouraged to take photos using their phones or cameras

When is Cookies with Santa?

Cookies with Santa will be held on Friday, December 11, 2026
There will be two separate sessions:
Session 1-- 4:30pm - 5:30pm
Session 2-- 6:15pm - 7:15pm

in preparation for the event**

Do I have to register to attend this event?

Yes, registration is REQUIRED, and payment is due at the time of registration. Registration opens November 3rd, 2026 for members, and November 10th for non-members. Registration closes December 4th, 2026, or when tickets have sold out.

Is there a fee to register for Cookies with Santa?

Yes, there is a minimum $15 donation for each child due at the time of registration. There is no fee for adults for this event, but we will gladly accept any additional contributions!
*Online registration will include a $0.50 convenience fee

I'm a member, do I receive any discounts?

Yes, the member pricing for Cookies with Santa is a minimum $12 donation per child, and member registration opens a week before it is open to the public, on November 3rd, 2026. Members will be emailed a direct scheduling link on this day.

How do I register my children for this event?

You can register online (below), stop by the front desk or give us a call at (336) 228-7997 to register for Cookies with Santa.

What is the gift that my child receives from Santa?

Grownups who register their children for a Cookies with Santa Session are responsible for bringing in a gift for Santa to give to the child. With the rising prices of toys/shipments, we respectfully request you adhere to a price range of $15 or less; this helps to ensure all our friends feel equally special in the eyes of Santa.

When do I need to bring the gift?

We ask that you purchase or drop off an UNWRAPPED gift no later than Friday, December 4th before 5pm. Please keep in mind that gifts may also be purchased in our CMAC Gift Shop and we are happy to assist you over the phone at (336) 228-7997. More information on gifts can be found below…
